Barrhaven Road Safety Event
Join us for this FREE event hosted by Councillor Hill, Councillor Lo, Safer Roads Ottawa, and the Ottawa Safety Council. Come hear about the latest road safety updates and key issues affecting Barrhaven East and West, connect with Councillor Hill and Councillor Lo, and hear some updates from John Wambombo from the City of Ottawa. John is the Program Coordinator of Safer Roads Ottawa, an interdepartmental partnership between Ottawa Fire Services, Ottawa Paramedic Service, Ottawa Police Service, Ottawa Public Health and Public Works Department committed to preventing or eliminating road deaths and serious injuries for all people in the City of Ottawa, through culture change, community engagement, and development of a sustainable safe transportation environment. Further, catch up with the Ottawa Safety Council, who will be sharing their community-based road safety initiatives, the free resources available to parents and schools, and about how you can get involved in making our roads safer for all.
